*Contestants must be between ages 13-22 years old to participate

* Semi-final participants are allowed parents, family, friends, etc. to accompany them at the venue during their audition

* Auditions will consist of (2) 90-second performances (verse & chorus of each song) of family friendly songs

* A select number of contestants will be chosen from each of the 4 semi-final auditions to move on to the finale round in Raleigh, NC in March 2023

* All registrants who apply will be allowed to audition at their selected audition location

Details Of The Contest

  • Competition is open to anyone between the ages of 13-22 years old
  • Finale Competition held in March 2023 in Raleigh, NC
  • Select semi-finalists will receive tailored coaching from ambassador Paige King Johnson & PCG Artist Development from Nashville, Tennessee prior to the finale competition
  • ​Ag Star Talent Search winner will receive a prize package including a Yamaha guitar, professional songwriting session, one (1) song recorded & produced by a top Nashville studio producer, training from industry professionals, exclusive Got to Be NC performance opportunities & more!

  • Friday, September 16, 2022 at the North Carolina Mountain State Fair in Fletcher, NC - Completed
  • Sunday, September 18, 2022 at the Piedmont Triad Farmers Market in Colfax, NC - Completed
  • ​Friday, November 4, 2022 at Martin Community College in Williamston, NC
  • ​Sunday, November 6, 2022 at University of Mount Olive in Mount Olive, NC
